Hello!
I'm TJ, the founder of Peanut Free NYC
Since I first tasted New York pizza in 2019, I've tried making the city's food accessible to those with allergies like mine. Peanut Free NYC started as a Google Maps list with a few of my favorite restaurants but ballooned into several hundred in a few months. When friends began asking for the list, I decided to follow the New York entrepreneurial spirit and start a business.
When I'm not trying the newest nut-free foods, I love visiting cat cafes.

Notice:
Eating out at restaurants, especially with food allergies, involves a non-trivial level of risk. This is a guide to help people mitigate risk, not a guarantee of safety. Restaurant rankings are based on the opinions and research of one peanut-allergic diner, not allergy experts, and may change anytime. Always carry emergency medication, routinely review your plan for handling anaphylactic shock, and always discuss your allergies with restaurant staff before you eat at every visit. For more information, view our disclaimer.
